The Mission of Augusta Birth Network is to promote the awareness and availability of mother-friendly maternity care.
Augusta Birth Network is part of a grassroots movement based on the belief that birth can profoundly affect our physical, mental and spiritual well-being.
Augusta Birth Network advocates mother-friendly care, as defined by the Mother-Friendly Childbirth Initiative. By making informed choices and having confidence in the process, families can experience safe and satisfying childbirth.
The foundation of our organization is the Mother-Friendly Childbirth Initiative, authored by the Coalition to Improve Maternity Services (CIMS).
All are welcome to attend our FREE regular meetings in Augusta -- 1st Monday of every month
