The Mission of Augusta Birth Network is to promote the
awareness and availability of mother-friendly maternity care.

Augusta BirthNetwork is part of a grassroots movement based on the belief that birth can profoundly affect our physical, mental and spiritual
well-being. Birth Network advocates mother-friendly care, as defined by the Mother-Friendly Childbirth Initiative. By making informed choices and having confidence in the process,  families can experience safe and satisfying childbirth.

Augusta BirthNetwork is affiliated with BirthNetwork National,
a National non-profit organization. The foundation of our organization is the Mother-Friendly Childbirth Initiative, authored by the
Coalition to Improve Maternity Services (CIMS).

All are welcome to join our FREE regular meetings in Augusta 1st Monday of every month
7:00-8:30 PM at Earth Fare, 368 Fury’s Ferry Road and to join our Yahoo  group.
